Italian Giants will be taking on German Side Werder Bremen in the group stages of the Champions League. Inter Milan are the defending Champions and were held by dutch side FC Twenty in the first match of the Group Stages. it was very interesting game as Inter came from 2 goals down to draw level. Inter Milan are not the same as they were last year, but still we have to take them serioly as they are the champions of Italy and ofcource Europe and won the trbel Under Jose Mourinho. Chelsea 2-0 Spartak

Another draw in the league left Chelsea missed a great oppertunity to take advantage of United dropping points again at home, while City and Arsenal are getting their with chelsea at to of the table battles. But in the Champions League its all different story as Chelsea will be looking to put the qualification to the knock out round to bed when they take on Russian side Spartak Moscow in the Group stages of the Champions League on Tuesday night. After a stunning start to the season chelsea are somewhat lost the form and are struggling interms of goals, and this match in Russia will prove even more hard to cope with as English Teams always struggle in Russia but chelsea are in very comfortable poistion in the group stages and they will be more than happy to come away with just a draw, but if they can win it they will surely book their place to the next round which would allwo them to use rest of three games in the group as just the formality and concentrat on the League. While Spartak are always difficult to break down at home and they will put a real challenge for Chelsea.

Real Madrid 2-0 AC Milan

Jose Mourinho side will be taking on AC Milan for the upcoming Champions League match on in the Midweek. Milan are coming into this match on the back of a good result in the league on the weekend. Now they will be taking on Real Madrid for the second time in few months time, they already came up against each other in the preseason match at Bernabue. Cristiano Ronaldo and Higuain had a very good game in the weekend, scoring goals and creating chances at the same time, while AC Milan are also coming into this match on the back of good result, Pato scored in the winning match, and it will be interesting to see how both teams come up against each other. Mourinho have seems to have made up a good solid unit which is winning match good or the ugly way. It is real oppertunity that they might be able to do well this year but before reaching to the knockout they have a small matter of playing against Milan on the weekend.

Man City 1-1 Juventus

Manchester City are coming into this match on the back of a wonderfull result over the weekend when they defeated English Premier league Champions Chelsea on the weekend. It is believed that City up their game when the bigger opposition comes along but their game drop a level or two when they play against teams lover in ranks so it wont be any problem for them to lift their game on thursday night when they host Juventus in the Europa League on thursday night. City’s performences this eason has been blow par when it comes to usual league games but they tend to do well against the better oppostions just like they did to Chelsea on the weekend, now they have the chance to play against probably a faded European Giant Juventus in the Europa League group stage and Mancini will be lookign to get one over against his old rivlas in the Serie A.

CHAMPHION HOTSPURS vs FC TWENTE

Harry Redknapp team will be taking on Dutch side FC Twente in the Champions League Group stage on Wednesday night. In the first match of the Groups Spurs drew with Wreder Bremen and that was a bad result considering the fact that they were leading 2-0 at half time but surrender the lead in the 2nd half. Spurs are in the hardest group of them all with Inter milan i nthe same group too so this is kind of a must win game for them.

Spurs had to play some very hard games to reach the group stages, as they were made to struggle in the first leg of their Qualfication round when they were losing 3-0 but came back in the game and score two away goals to make it easir for them, While in the 2nd leg they hammered young boys by 4-0 and book their place in the Champions League proper. In the first matchday action they were leading Bremen by 2-0 away from home and it looked like a dream start for them but it was not to be as home side came back when they score two quick goals and Spurs had to content with just a draw. Now this is the easiest match on paper for them they must win this one if they stand any chance to qualify for the next round.

Liverpool 2-1 Blackburn

Roy Hodgson side has been in absolutely drasting form since the start of the season and they are coming into this match on the back of poor result in the Europa League in the midweek when they could only drew with Napoli the Italian side 0-0 on the night. Liverpool have been playing very poor fotball since the start of this year and their poor run of form in the league has left them in the relegation zone where they are second from bottom and if next two or three result go wrong they will surely be in a mess and the relegation thoughts will get serious. THeir start players are not performing upto the mark which include Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard Both are struggling for form this year while new signings are also not settling in with the team. On the other hand Blackburn would want to take full advantage of their lack of cofidence and get something out of this match. It will surely be a very interesting battle

With today’s game away at Manchester City, Arsenal will end a week which saw the return of Croatian striker to the Emirates in the Gunners’ 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

Speaking to Arsenal TV Online, the Croatian started by saying how it was a shame that he didn’t have time for a proper goodbye when he left, explaining how everything was done quickly and how he had to fly to Ukraine on a Sunday to undergo a medical, day on which the team was in Austria for pre-season.

Asked about how easy it was to settle down at his new club, the 27-year old explained that Donetsk is a very nice city where everything is close and with the Club possessing a top class ground with top class training facilities.

The striker concluded by saying how he didn’t lose contact with his friends at Arsenal as he revealed how he still talks to Denilson, Bacary Sagna, Cesc Fabregas, Tomas Rosicky and other members of the team.

Last Tuesday, Eduardo said:

[My transfer] was very quick, I think it was a Sunday and I had to fly to Ukraine to do some exams with Arsenal in Austria for pre-season. Because of that I didn’t have time to say goodbye so I’m happy to see the people again.

The fans were fantastic during my three years at Arsenal and they will always be in my heart.

[My life in Donetsk] It’s not a small city and it’s nice, everything is close not like London where everything is big. They have a top stadium and a top training ground, they are a big club in Europe and the Brasilian players are helping me to adapt.
